The beautiful setting of Les Augrès Manor, nestled in the lush, green rural parish of Trinity in Jersey, is steeped in history. The picturesque 17th century manor house sits in a site of medieval origin. Since 1963 Les Augrès Manor has been home to the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, an international charity founded by author and naturalist Gerald Durrell and dedicated to saving species from extinction. The 32 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds are also home to some of the most threatened species of animals, living safely in large, open and natural spaces that offer a unique window into their natural worlds.
