Durrell and Rathbones go wild for golf fundraiser

In Durrell’s 60th anniversary year, together with Rathbones, we relaunch our golf day fundraising event, newly named Go Wild Golf Day. The event will take place at La Moye Golf Club on Friday 14th June.

Once again, we are delighted to have Rathbones on board as the event sponsor. Commenting on their support for this event, Matthew Sutton, Client Director of Rathbones said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Durrell for the Go Wild Golf Day. This has always been a fantastic and fun event, so we're thrilled to see it back on the calendar raising money for a wonderful local charity that does such important work both here in Jersey and all over the world.”

With 22 teams signed up so far, we are happy to have space for just two more teams to take part in this popular event and help raise vital funds for Durrell.

The golf day is kindly being organised by Susie Robins of the Durrell Gardiens — a group of long-term supporters who fundraise on behalf of Durrell. Commenting on the event, Susie said, “I’m pleased to be organising the Go Wild Golf Day for Durrell. It’s great to be able to relaunch this event in the Trust’s 60th anniversary year and to see so many teams signing up. I am positive that this event will help raise valuable funds for Durrell’s global conservation work, saving species from extinction.”

With just two sought after places left at the Go Wild Golf Day, event organisers are encouraging teams of four to sign up soon to avoid disappointment. Teams should email zoe.hotton@durrell.org to sign up.
