Safety and Risk Manager

The Safety & Risk Manager will support Durrell teams across the world to maintain safe and secure working environments for staff, students, volunteers and visitors. The post holder will be responsible for assisting managers to implement Durrell’s health and safety policies and procedures, monitoring safety performance, assessing risk and proposing solutions, and encouraging a positive safety culture across the organisation.

This role will be based in Jersey but will provide support across the Trust and as such will require occasional travel to the UK and Durrell’s international Field Programmes. The post will be based at Durrell’s headquarters in Jersey Zoo and will comprise a mix of desk-based work and working directly with staff across the site.
