Making Jersey Zoo accessible to all
We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy a fantastic day out at Jersey Zoo, reconnect with nature, learn about Durrell and support us in our mission of saving species from extinction.
Our income support ticket offers zoo entry at a reduced rate of £6 per person for a maximum of 6 people per household.
The aim of the income support ticket is to help those who may find cost or other challenges to be a barrier to visiting Jersey Zoo.
Booking your visit
We understand there may be sensitivities around individual circumstances, so this offer is initially available to book online only.
Upon arrival, a member of our admissions team will assist with your entry. To validate your booking, please bring evidence of your income support and photographic ID with you.

How do I know if I am eligible?
If you are actively in receipt of income support and can provide proof of this, then you are eligible. You will also need to show your photographic ID to show you match the recipient, Only one person per household group needs to provide this evidence.
Unfortunately, without showing these documents we will not be able to accept reduced price tickets.
What do I need to bring on the day of my visit?
Your online booking confirmation email, proof of receipt of income support in either a letter or email, and your matching photographic ID.
Why are tickets only available online?
We’ve heard from several organisations who have similar schemes that customers preferred to order their tickets online in advance, for various reasons. It’s also important that we manage visitor numbers on site, to ensure a great experience for all.
Why is this offer only available for visitors in receipt of Income Support?
This is an initiative that is being introduced to be able to make Jersey Zoo accessible to all, giving opportunities to individuals and families who for whatever reason may not otherwise be able to visit.
I require a carer to support my visit; do I need to purchase an additional ticket for them?
For every paid entry to Jersey Zoo, we offer one free entry for carers.
When does this offer finish?
The offer is available until 31st December 2026 at which point it will be reviewed.
What if I want to bring a group?
