In addition to our advertised courses, we are able to offer a wide range of training opportunities designed to build the competences of both individuals and organisations working in conservation.

We provide bespoke teaching to university and college groups, drawing upon Durrell's firsthand experience of species recovery and ecosystem restoration. We also provide bespoke staff training to conservation organisations around the world, building capacity in a wide range of conservation competences.

Our taught courses can be complimented with tours of the animal and veterinary departments. Students can learn from the expert keeping staff and vets, what it takes to care for and breed endangered species. Students can also develop their behavioural research skills using our unique collection of animals. Students have the unique opportunity to view conservation in action, by getting out into the field and visiting one of our local reintroduction programmes.
