On weekdays from 20 July to 4 September, let imaginations run wild. Your little ones can scavenge their way around the zoo, discover what snakeskin feels like and create their very own wildlife-inspired masterpieces.
Animal Explorer sessions are free with zoo admission, just drop in.

Scavenger Hunt
📅 Mondays | All day | Visitor Centre
Explore the zoo grounds in a different light, whilst solving puzzles and riddles in our weekly scavenger hunt. With a new theme each week, be sure to pick up your clues on entry and be in with the chance of winning a prize!

Touch Table
📅 Wednesdays | 🕐 10–12pm and 2-4pm | 📍 Main Lawn near Durrell Discovery Centre
Discover what snakeskin feels like or what an orangutan skull looks like at this touch table with some amazing animal artefacts. The Jersey Zoo Learning Team will be on hand to show you some of the real and replica parts of animals that you might not usually get to see or touch.
Please note – no live animals will be on show

Crafty Creatures

Have a go at making a crafty creature at this drop-in session. The Jersey Zoo Learning Team will be on hand with ideas and everything you need to inspire the children to making their very own crafty creature.
