A magical experience for anyone who has been inspired by Gerald Durrell’s wonderful books about his childhood in Corfu.
Every year, Durrell hosts a Gerald Durrell Week based in the north of the island of Corfu. Participants are able to experience aspects of the life Gerald led in Corfu, as described in his Corfu Trilogy.
The magic of fireflies, the deafening chorus of frogs, the nightly calling of the scops owls, acres of olive groves with glittering turquoise waters and breathtaking views reaching out over the sea to the distant mountains of Albania.
This is a week in which to discover, under the guidance of experts, how to study animals in their natural habitats.
If you've become enchanted with the spectaular island that so inspired Gerry during his formative years, and would like to come along, please register your interest today.

There will be field trips to see how we are contributing to wildlife conservation in the Island. You will learn about Jersey’s fascinating natural history from local experts, and you will visit places of historical and cultural interest around the Island.
