The Board of Trustees of Durrell are seeking two new trustees.
Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust is an international charity working to save species from extinction. Headquartered in Jersey in the Channel Islands, Durrell leads some of the world’s longest running and most successful species and habitat recovery programmes.
Board meetings take place quarterly in Jersey and we encourage in-person participation, however virtual attendance is permitted on occasion.
This is a voluntary position, with reimbursement for travel expenses.
We are looking for candidates with the following skill sets:
Human Resources
- Experience of HR for an international organisation
- Strategic level HR experience
- Experience of developing organisational remuneration plans
Legal
- Corporate / Charity Governance is desirable.
- Trust law/fiduciary principles
- Trustee/Director duties and obligations
- Charity/company regulation an advantage
- Contract/commercial law
