Niall has extensive international leadership experience having held various senior general management positions in wealth management and fiduciary services and as a board member. He specializes in corporate governance and strategy. He is a respected financial services figure and was formerly President of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) for Jersey, a not for profit developing future investment practitioners,  and remains active through his role on CISI’s  Global Members’ committee.

Niall has always worked in regulated businesses where adherence to all risk management, financial reporting and anti-corruption measures is critical. He ran substantial wealth management businesses across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa for HSBC and, on his return to Jersey in 2012, fiduciary services businesses in Jersey.   He has worked with families, corporates and funds to help develop and implement effective governance and asset monitoring processes, often being appointed to Family Committees or Boards on an ongoing basis. Additionally, he has a thorough understanding of business risk having designed and implemented internal control frameworks.

He has a keen interest in biodiversity, and has volunteered with Durrell since 2020, initially assisting with treasury and investment matters prior to being co-opted to the Board of Trustees of Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust at the start of 2024.
