Wind down in the wild at Durrell Wildlife Camp, an exclusive luxury getaway experience, and let the sights and sounds of our wildlife park in Jersey transport you to the forests of Madagascar.

Each spacious camping pod has a double bed, wood burning stove, outdoor deck with sun-beds, as well as showering and kitchen facilities.

As well as the opportunity to get close to some of the rarest species on earth, bookings include unlimited access to the park during your stay.

To really immerse yourself in your Durrell adventure, why not book a ‘behind the scenes’ animal experience such as ‘Keeper for a Day’ or ‘Vet Experience’.

To avoid disappointment please ensure you book any activities in advance. For animal experiences, we suggest you allow four to six weeks’ notice.

A happy, safe home from home to some of the world’s most endangered animal species. Some are, sadly, so rare, that the chances are you wouldn’t even see them in their native habitat. Durrell are working to change that... come and see how!

Dawn and dusk tours are available exclusively to campers, so consider yourself a wildlife park VIP, and get to see some of our shyest creatures into the bargain!

Durrell Wildlife Camp is lucky enough to be located in what is officially ‘the sunniest part of the United Kingdom’ - according to the UK Met Office no less! Let us tell you a little more about our island home here... including things to see and do!

  • Each pod has its own safe, clean, cosy heat providing stove. The first bag of logs is free! More can be purchased easily on site.

  • Next to every pod is its own dedicated shower and WC... no queuing or sharing facilities at Durrell Wildlife Camp!

  • For culinarily competent campers, we provide a two-ring stove and all the cookware, crockery and cutlery required to 'eat in'.

  • At any time during wildlife park opening hours, campers can come and go as they please for free.

  • Just because you are enjoying a retreat in nature, doesn't mean you can't stay in touch with the world! Free WiFi covers the whole camp

  • Be just as social as you please in our communal area. Here you can meet other guests, or attend wildlife talks from our expert staff

  • Dine in the fresh air with that unique BBQ flavour!

  • Each pod sleeps up to two adults and two children. Additional tipis can be arranged for children to sleep separately. Two pods are fully accessible for disabled guests.
