Private Functions at DurrellThe beautiful headquarters of Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust are now available to hire for private or corporate functions. A variety of stunning indoor and outdoor locations will allow you to make the perfect choice for all occasions. Let our professional events’ organiser co-ordinate an exclusive evening reception, grand ball or conference. Catering, ranging from simple refreshments to full corporate banquets, can be provided.

A unique range of activities are also available to enhance your Durrell experience including, animal manager talks, animal enrichment workshops and the opportunity to work alongside our veterinary biologist.

You will have the satisfaction of knowing that, as well as providing a unique experience for your guests, every penny you spend will help Durrell continue to work around the world, saving some of the planet’s most vulnerable species and habitats from extinction.

Available facilities’ include:

  • The beautiful manor house itself - with its intimate board level venue for up to 18 attendees.
  • The Princess Royal Pavilion’s Harcroft Theatre - providing conference facilities for over 120 delegates.
  • The Hastings Lecture Theatre - within our International Training Centre (ITC), capable of holding 51 people. Both theatre suites have separate break out rooms and excellent AV facilities’, with the ITC facility enjoying the added benefit of a well equipped computer training suite.
  • The Picnic Orchard - In good weather, why not use the outside grounds. The picnic orchard can be
    closed off for private functions and outdoor meetings.
  • Outside Events with Marquee Hire - We can erect Marquees of different sizes in various locations around the site (sympathetic with our animal welfare requirements) which can be used for anything from an exclusive evening reception to a grand ball!
  • A full range of catering is available upon prior arrangement.
