Durrell’s Jersey headquarters are open every day of the year except Christmas Day.
We are now open for the summer season.
- Summer Season: 09:30 to 18:00
- Winter Season: 09:30 to 17:00
As an international charity the money raised by ticket entry helps our conservation programmes both at our Jersey headquarters and our international programmes.
- Adult: £11.90 (feeds Ya Kwanza, our 245kg silverback gorilla for 2 days)
- OAP: £9.50 (feeds our pair of Andean bears for 1 day)
- Child (4-16 years): £8.40 (feeds a baby pygmy hog for 6 weeks in our breeding centre in Assam, NE India)
- Student 17-22 years: £9.50 (produces one training manual for our international students in Endangered Species Management)
- Family (2 adults + 2 children): £36.00 (pays for a field assistant to monitor iguana nest sites in St Lucia for 3 days)
- Family annual membership: £100.00 (buys a Global Positioning System for field workers in Madagascar)
- Child under 4 years: FREE (and the smile on their face is priceless!)
For groups of 10 individuals or more paying as a single entry we have the following special reduced rates per person:
- Adult: £9.50
- Senior: £7.50
- Student (17-22 yrs): £7.50
- Child (4-16 yrs): £6.40
Schools, colleges and universities are eligible for student group entry rates only when booked into the Conservation Education Department for planned teaching sessions.
Pre-booked workshops with Conservation Education Staff
- Primary group (1 hour workshop) £35.70
- Secondary group (1 hour workshop) £35.70
- Post-16 group (half day/full day workshops) £46.50/£79.40
The cost of entry to the site per student should be added to the unit cost of workshops.
Student Group Entry to Durrell in Jersey
- School pupils (aged 4 – 16 years) £5.40 each
- Students (aged 17 – 22 years) £6.50 each
- One teacher free with every 10 students
- Additional adults £9.50 each
GCSE and A-Level group entry is charged at the same rate as child group entry, only when students are pre-booked for teaching in the Department of Conservation Education. Otherwise students over the age of 14 visiting independently are charged at £8.35 each (aged 17-22).
