Narrated by John Nettles, this DVD tells the full story of Jambo the Durrell gorilla and his family.
It includes the dramatic pictures of Jambo becoming an international celebrity when a little boy fell into the gorilla compound at Durrell. The horror of the spectators turned to amazement as Jambo approached the unconcious boy, gently touched him and then protected him from the rest of the gorilla family.
