In his latest book, a sequel to his Journey Round Jersey published in 2005, Robin Pittman follows the route from st Catherine's to L'Etacq described in John Le Dain's Jersey Rambles. On this walk through the heart of the Island he encounters and converses with forty-three people from varied backgrounds and with varied interests. What emerges is both a snapshot of a beautiful and unique part of the world and a taste of Jersey's life and society in the first decade of a new century.
In his forward Mike Stentiford MBE writes: 'Robin Pittman has made a journey of gentle pace and achieved a journal of thoughtful reflection. Yet, most revealing of all, he has written a book that vividly shimmers with Island pride-the very finest of attributes'
