17th March 2010
Today we announce the very latest event in our fundraising calendar – The Durrell Danceathon. This 12 hour fun packed party takes place from 8am to 8pm on bank Holiday Monday the 31st May at our Trinity Headquarters.
Dance professionals will be helping everyone to get into the groove with style demonstrations including Salsa, Cheerleading, Street, Irish, Lindy Hop, Merengue and more.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn a routine from each style and then put the moves into practice at the final dance-off with the chance of winning a mystery prize!
We hope that by asking people to raise the minimum sponsorship of £65 per person, the fundraising event should be a success for Durrell. Entries are invited from teams and individuals, including supervised children.
For more details or to sign up, contact Natalie in our Fundraising Department on 860013 or natalie.ranise@durrell.org. You can download a sponsorship form from the homepage.
