Dodo club

The Dodo Club is filled with fun activities and lots of chances to learn more about our animals and conservation work and includes all Durrell’s young members, whether you’re a few days old or in your teens!

Whether you are catching up on the latest news with our colourful newsletter and poster, joining in the action-packed workshops at our headquarters in Jersey or developing your own skills as a conservationist at home through the Gerald Durrell Award scheme, there’s lots to do in the Dodo Club.

Workshops

Orang Utan YoungWe have a range of different activities available for different ages, click on each one to find out more:

Dodolings: 3-6 year olds
Birthday parties: 4-8 year olds
Activity Week: 7-11 year olds
Keepertime: 12-16 year olds
Young conservationists: 13-18 year olds
Conservation science school: 15-18 year olds

Non-members are welcome to attend the workshops, but will be required to pay the entry fee

  • A magazine, with a free poster,  'Dodo Dispatch' – magazine for children aged up to 11 years old or 'Lasting Impressions' – magazine for members aged 12 and over.
