Francesca ‘Franny’ Cunninghame

Francesca ‘Franny’ Cunninghame is our Mangrove Finch Field Manager. Based within the Charles Darwin Foundation, she leads the restoration project for mangrove finches and will oversee the translocation of finches to former sites. Franny is experienced in managing translocation projects having worked in her native New Zealand on the translocations of the flightless rail, the weka (Gallirallus australis) and the mohua (Mohuoa ochrocephala) a forest passerine onto a predator free offshore island.
