The school has worked really hard to help us with our vital mission of saving species from extinction, raising over £6000 in the last year alone!
Pupils have teamed up and organised a Durrell Day, which included selling cakes, face painting and other fun activities. Several hundred pounds were also raised through recycling their mobile phones for the Durrell phone recycling campaign. Most impressively, over £4000 was raised through their school walk for Durrell from West Park to Corbiere and back. Winners of the walk were treated with a visit to the wildlife park and enjoyed a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the reptile department and even had the chance to hold Kevin the snake!
Durrell and Grainville are looking forward to working closely together for the next year ahead.
