Nelson, the slender tailed meerkat - Nelson arrived in Jersey with his family in 1999 to play an important role in captive breeding as a conservation tool to save species. Nelson is a friendly, good natured meerkat and a fantastic father.

Membership - Why not become a member of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust or buy a membership as a gift for somebody else?

Our members are entitled to visit Durrell's Jersey headquarters as often as they like and also receive regular mailings from us, updating them on all our latest news!

The tiger challenge & The great wall of China trek - These inspirational expeditions will be a once in a lifetime experience encountering the most spectacular sites, landscapes and wildlife along the way. Whether your aim is to do something different, get fit or simply visit new places and make new friends, you can achieve all of the above while helping us raise much needed funds to allow it to continue in its mission, to save species from extinction.

Volunteer - Around the world, Durrell is supported by hundreds of volunteers, without whom our work would grind to a halt. Whether it's helping to hand-rear chicks in Mauritius; assisting our tortoise breeding in Madagascar or giving guided tours of our Jersey headquarters, the donation of our volunteers' time is invaluable to us.
