You Have the Power

In 2009 Durrell celebrates 50 years in Jersey; during this time we have saved six species from extinction and are currently ensuring the survival of over 30 endangered species worldwide including some of the more obscure, less charismatic animals, often neglected by many conservation organisations.

We have achieved this through a combination of solid science and effective practical work at our headquarters in Jersey.

Our vision is to be the world’s foremost organisation devoted to the hands-on management of rare and endangered animals and the maintenance of the world’s precious ecosystems. In order to achieve this our Jersey headquarters must be transformed, creating a conservation resource centre that ensure the greatest success for our work around the world.
