
Hare Carding Marketing Solutions (HCMS) has provided PR and strategic marketing support for Durrell over the last two years. Work has included redesigning Durrell’s supporter newsletter On the Edge, the production of the Trust's consumer marketing leaflets and planning the strategy for their distribution.
HCMS has forged relationships with corporate sponsors such as The Co-op who ran a major promotion in their stores for Durrell. They designed and produced all the in-store marketing collateral for this, and developed a unique 'Adoption in a Box' retail product to further enhance the Trust's income from their important animal adoption scheme.
On the PR front HCMS is committed to raising awareness of Durrell’s overseas conservation work and, by working closely with the in-house team at Durrell, has ensured that Durrell news appears in the local, national or international press every single day of the year.
Group company chairman Max Carding said: “We are constantly looking for new ways to spread the message about Durrell’s vital work with endangered species. The Trust’s work across the globe is dependent on charitable donations and it is our job to ensure that as many people as possible are made aware of how even small donations can make a difference.”
