The 2009 Durrell ECO-ACTIVE Business Sustainability Seminar saw 75 delegates from Jersey’s business community in attendance at the event hosted by Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and sponsored by RBC Wealth Management. Professor Ian Christie, a leading environmentalist and UK government advisor on sustainability, supported a panel of seven other speakers in educating business leaders about practical, economical and sustainable ways for businesses to reduce their environmental footprint.

It’s simple to offset your carbon emissions with Durrell and ECO-ACTIVE. Either choose one of the ‘quick offsets’ from the list below, or use one of the recommended carbon calculators to assess the amount of CO2 you need to offset before clicking on the link below to buy your Durrell carbon offsets.

For flights you can use our  table to quickly offset your carbon footprint, please note that the minimum size offset that we sell is 0.1 tonnes. You can also add radiative forcing which takes into account the increased effect of carbon emissions at altitude. We use the DEFRA radiative forcing factor of 1.9 to make this calculation.

Once completed, we’ll send you a certificate detailing the amount you have offset and an annual update of the project in Brazil.
