Phillip is a Chartered Accountant who specialises in charity issues. He is on Durrell’s Board because he feels he can use his skills, knowledge and expertise to contribute to Durrell’s future growth and success.
Prior to his appointment to Durrell’s board, Phillip served on the Board of a large UK charitable housing association where he chaired the Risk and Audit Committee. Previously, he has been co-founder, Trustee and Chairman of a regional wildlife conservation charity in the UK.
Born and educated in Bristol, UK, Phillip studied economics and chemistry for his degree. He works as a Partner with Moore Stephens in Jersey and was previously the head of a charity division for a large firm of Chartered Accountants in the UK.
In addition to his role with Durrell and his ongoing day job, Phillip is Honorary Treasurer for the Association of Jersey Charities and is interested in motorcycles, rugby, golf, cooking and travel.
