Mark Oliver

Mark Oliver, Aged 45 has been Honorary Treasurer of Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust since 2004. A qualified accountant with over 25 years experience at Finance Director level, working for both large private companies and listed plc’s. For the past six years he has been Finance Director of both the Jersey Evening Post and the Guernsey Press. He lives just around the corner from Durrell in Trinity with his three children and is a regular visitor to Durrell, providing support and advice to the management team whenever needed. As well as financial skills, he has experience in the management of Human Resources, Information Technology and Logistics and brings a wealth of experience in a multitude of publishing platforms, from Book & Journals, to the Internet and of course newspapers. At Durrell, Mark is Chair of the Investment Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee as well as being an attendee at the Audit Committee.
